THREE SISTERS Comes to The Harbor Image

Continuing their summer of World Premieres, Wellfleet's Harbor Stage Company, will present a brand new version of Anton Chekhov's exhilirating classic, Three Sisters. Adapted and directed by Harbor Artistic Director Robert Kropf, this invigorating new version captures the exquisite ache and bittersweet beauty of a tightknit family navigating life in a provincial village.

Kropf directs a cast that includes co-founders Jonathan Fielding and Stacy Fischer, along with celebrated Harbor collaborators Winslow Corbett (The Deer & the Antelope), Dennis Cunningham (The Weir), Ari Lew (The Weir), and William Zelinski (Glengarry Glen Ross). D'Arcy Dersham (Portland Stage, the Gamm) and Allison Zanolli (Lipstick Theatre) join the ensemble for their Harbor debuts. Performances begin Thursday, July 25th and continue through Sunday, September 1st.

The Harbor Stage Company is helmed by co-founders Jonathan Fielding, Stacy Fischer, Robert Kropf, and Brenda Withers. In keeping with its mission to produce great plays at fair prices for the right reason, and thanks to the support of local sponsors WOMR, Kathleen Nagle at Kinlin Grover, Winslow's Tavern, and Cape Air, single tickets to Harbor performances remain set at $23. A generous grant from the Wellfleet Cultural Council allows the company to continue its tradition of partnering with deserving Cape charities for their First Fridays Pay-What-You-Can performances. Half the proceeds from the Harbor's by-donation Friday, July 26th performance of Three Sisters will be donated to the Wellfleet Chamber of Commerce's Scholarship fund, a non-profit that awards financial aid to deserving high school graduates & college students in pursuit of higher education.
