Fans of The Goonies, Goosebumps, and Coraline can now escape with The Peculiar Haunting of Thelma Bee. Its author Erin Petti will join the ImprovBoston Mainstage cast on December 8th for fast-paced games and hilarious scenes.
In her quirky and fantastical adventure-mystery, Petti intertwines science and magic. Eleven-year-old Thelma Bee has as much imagination as curiosity and sense of adventure. After a strange woman sells a jewelry box at her father's antique shop, a ghost kidnaps her father. "It's up to Thelma to get her dad back, and it might be harder than she thought - there's someone wielding dark magic, and Thelma is pretty sure they're coming after her next," says ErinPetti.com.
Petti is no stranger to the ImprovBoston stage. As an ImprovBoston alum, Petti used her skills in improvisation to develop story and imaginative scenes in her debut book. She now returns to the ImprovBoston stage to join their elite Mainstage cast for an engaging informative, and totally improvised comedy show.
