Boston Theater Company celebrates its second birthday tonight, December 8 (doors 7:30pm perf. 8pm) with a benefit concert, FROM BROADWAY TO BOSTON, featuring special guest Dawn Cantwell, seen in Sting's Broadway musical THE LAST SHIP.

It's a family affair, too, as her brother Ryan Cantwell (first national tour of PIPPIN) sits in as the event's musical director. They'll be joined by Rich DiMare, the Top 30 countdown producer on Boston's hit radio station Kiss 108 FM.

The festivities also include the talents of a slew of Boston-based performers (Erika Peterson, Marge Dunn , Liana Asim, Lenni Kmiec, Brittany Rolfs, Nile Hawver, Shonna Cirone, Emily Hecht, and Paula Markowitz) whose stars are on the rise.

BTC is dedicated to preserving the messages of classical scripts while making them accessible to modern theatergoing audiences. Raise a toast to their continuing efforts at this benefit bash, directed by Founding Producing Artistic Director Joey Frangieh and hosted by OBERON, Zero Arrow Street in Cambridge. Proceeds will support Boston Theater Company's growing education programs and FINISH LINE, a documentary play designed to honor and remember the Boston Marathon of 2013.

Tickets are available at bostontheatercompany.com or cluboberon.com.
