As their stellar 85th season continues, the Cape Playhouse in Dennis, Massachusetts opens The Graduate on Monday, July 11th. The show is set to delight audiences, and keeps the star quality and hilarious comedy coming with Patricia Richardson.
The Cape Playhouse is ecstatic to present Patricia Richardson as the infamous Mrs. Robinson. Richardson has an impressive resume, starring in Broadway and Off-Broadway shows. A four-time Emmy and two-time Golden Globe nominee, Richardson is perhaps best known for her many television roles, including ‘Jill' in Tim Allen's "Home Improvement." She has hosted the Emmy Awards with talk show host Ellen Degeneres.
Alongside Richardson, the Cape Playhouse welcomes Bethe B. Austin, Joel Higgins, Jamie LaVerdiere, Emily Walton, Mark Zimmerman, and Jonathon Schwartz. The Graduate is the stage adaptation of the hit 60's movie, and tells the story of a recent college graduate falling into the arms of the wife of his father's best friend. Guided by critically acclaimed director Pamela Hunt, the explosive cast will burst onto the stage in one of the nation's finest cultural institutions and historic treasures on July 9th at 8 PM.
The Graduate runs from July 11 through July 23. Performances are every evening Monday through Saturday at 8 PM. Matinees are Wednesdays and the second Thursday at 2 PM, first Saturday at 4 PM.
