The Center for Arts in Natick at 14 Summer Street in Natick, MA 01760 is holding Summer Arts Workshops for kids. Register by mail, call 508-647-0097 x201 or in person Tuesday through Saturday from 12 to 6pm.

The Musical Theatre Workshop is presented by Pocket Full of Tales director Kristy Pace. Scripted, original musicals inspire adventures in acting, movement, singing, set and prop building, costumes, and teamwork with Friday performances for family and friends. These workshops are a fun introduction to the world of musical theater, and offer a terrific chance to work with professional actors and musicians. Monday through Friday from 9 to 12pm, ages 4 to 6 and 7 to 10.

Rumplestiltskin: Rumplestiltskin will help the princess spin straw into gold if she grants him her first born child. The only way out...guess his name with the assistance of all of her forest friends. Cinderella and Cinderedna: Cinderella and her sister Cinderedna could not be more different. Join us to see what happens when they both get invited to the ball and meet their own special princes. Fairy Wings: A poor young fairy girl born with no wings befriends the woodland creatures and saves the entire royal family from the horrible trolls. Treasure Island: The classic pirate tale of Long John Silver and his friends on the quest to find Captain Flint's treasure with a little help from a boy, Jim Hawkins. Beauty and the Beast: The beloved tale of young girl who finds truth and goodness in the heart of a "beast" with the help of his faithful servants. The Little Mermaid: A young mermaid longs to live on land with the boy of her dreams, but how will this effect her family and friends under the sea? Pippi Longstockings: Pippi takes her friends on some of the most marvelous adventures, teaching them that if you believe in yourself anything is possible! Princess Picky: Princess Picky does not eat vegetables, no matter what the kingdom's people offer her ... until one day a wizard offers an inventive and charming solution.

Art, music, dance, and performance workshops are presented by Together in the Arts director Carol Schneider-Sereda Mondays through Fridays from 9 to 3pm for ages 5 to 13.

Hip-Hop Till Ya' Drop: Jazz dance and hip-hop all week, and sing contemporary songs backed up by drumming on trashcans and wooden boxes. Perform your own reality show and create a group installation piece and graffiti wearable art. It's the dramatic art, music, and dance show of the streets!

Project Showtime: "Performers" and "judges" stage an original reality show that twists and turns, until judges get in on the act too! Create a life size 3-D stand up of your favorite star and cast your vote for dancing queens, divas, comedians and shining stars. No eliminations, only celebrations at Friday's finale. July 27-31.
