On Friday, May 18th at 7:30pm at the Spectrum Playhouse, Royal Berkshire Improv Troupe and Jellyfish will bring their mix of Improv Comedy to the Berkshires. Tickets are $12 per person, cash or check only.

The Royal Berkshire Improv Troupe (RBIT), is a comedy improv group that has been delighting audiences with its own brand of non-scripted comedic mayhem since June of 2001. Performing a mix of theater games reminiscent of the TV show “Whose Line Is It Anyway?”, the group models its work on the teachings of renowned theater games/improvisation instructor Keith Johnstone. Through audience participation, RBIT’s mission is to create entertaining scenes which explore the boundaries of theater improvisation.

Longtime professional improvisers Scott Braidman, Mosie McNally, and Pam Victor join forces to create Jellyfish, a comedy show with tentacles. Each of these comedians come to the show with a slew of improv experience, setting the stage for impressive improv magic. Scott Braidman currently works with The August Company (Northampton), but has his roots at ImprovBoston, where he directed their award-winning Family Show, and Improv Asylum (Boston) as a NXT cast member. Mosie McNally also hails from ImprovBoston as a Mainstage member as well as a player in a wide variety of improvised shows there. Pam Victor is the founding member of the Pioneer Valley’s acclaimed improv troupe The Ha-Ha’s as well as the producer of The Happier Valley Comedy Show in Northampton. Put these three kooky comedians together and you get Jellyfish, an improvised, longform show that combines skill and silly sure to awe and amuse the whole audience.

The performance will take place at the Spectrum Playhouse, 20 Franklin Street, Lee, MA, 01238, on Friday May 18th.
