This is the perfect opportunity to kick back with family and friends while hearing some of the best Blues players around. ElLen Mackenzie Catering caters the hot and cold buffet brunch.
Following the brunch, the JRP Festival, sponsored by Massa Products Corporation, starts at 1 pm, as the musical lineup moves into Cox Hall. SSC vocalist Emily Browder Melville and collaborator/pianist Mark Shilansky, from Berklee College of Music, preseNT American Heart. This performance, with its folk/jazz adult contemporary vibe, features music close to the performers' hearts. The Ed Broms Quartet, at 2 pm, performs contemporary jazz originals in the spacious SSC lobby. At 3 pm, the Elan Mehler Trio plays jazz originals and standards with the delightful twist that only "jazzmaster" Mehler can accomplish!
