Direct from a hugely successful Broadway revival, this sweeping romantic Tony-Award winning musical tells the story of Amalia (Jennifer Ellis) and Georg (Sam Simahk), co-workers in a department store, who fall in love without knowing it through anonymous lonely heart letters. Directed and Choreographed by Elliot Norton and IRNE Award-winner Ilyse Robbins, performances run November 24 - December 23, 2017. The Press Opening is Saturday, November 25, 2017 at 8:00pm.

Shares Robbins, "I say unabashedly that this is my favorite musical. It is a story we have heard many times: in the play Parfumerie and the movies The Shop Around the Corner and You've Got Mail. It's the story of people who work together and share their lives together and the two lonely hearts whose letters and then lives find each other and intertwine. She Loves Me celebrates love, friendship, and caring. Add some beautiful music and a hilarious number about last minute Christmas shopping and what could be better this time of year?"

In addition to stars Jennifer Ellis and Sam Simahk, the She Loves Me cast includes Boston favorites Sara Coombs, Sean Crosley, Aimee Doherty, Tom Gleadow, Kirsten Salpini, Robert Saoud, Nick Sulfaro, and Jared Troilo. The cast also features Brendan Callahan, Bransen Gates, Jennifer Mischley, Sarajane Mullins, and Greater Boston Stage Young Company alum Angelo McDonough.

The design team is comprised of Music Director Matthew Stern, Scenic Designer Brynna Bloomfield, Lighting Designer Jeff Adelberg, Costume Designer Gail Astrid Buckley, Sound Designer John Stone, and Props Master Shauwna Grillo.

She Loves Me production credits: Book by Joe Masteroff, Music by Jerry Bock, and Lyrics by Sheldon Harnick. Based on a play by Miklos Laszio (the basis of films The Shop Around the Corner and You've Got Mail).
