Fresh off a sold-out New York City run of their smash hit musical "GREECE", Ryan Landry and his Gold Dust Orphans return to Boston and the Ramrod Center for the Performing Arts (Machine Night Club) with a brand new Christmas themed mystery! Otherwise known to you professional sleuths as a "Christmystery", this one's entitled ... "WHATEVER HAPPENED TO BABY JESUS?"

The Gold Dust Orphans Christmas show is a time-honored tradition here in Boston. That's probably because we ALWAYS offer a riotous romp that is NOT to be missed! Opening November 30th and running through December 23rd, "WHATEVER HAPPENED TO BABY JESUS?" is yet another example of why the Orphans continue to be the premiere comedic theater company in New England!

Someone has stolen the bright and shiny Baby Jesus from the Creche downtown-- and murdered the Preacher's wife to boot! But who, who, who could it be?

Years pass till Blanche Hudson, (physically challenged movie star), goes to spend the Christmas holidays at the Marvel Family Farm in her hometown of Mapleton, Vermont. ... But wait! Along comes Baby Jane Hudson, her crazy, (mentally challenged) sister! Haunted by their pasts, the Hudson sisters soon begin haunting each other until no one is safe!

"WHATEVER HAPPENED TO BABY JESUS?" is another of Landry's brilliantly inventive mash-ups of classic motion pictures. Classics like ... "Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?", "Strait Jacket", and "Summer Stock". Add a barrel of laughs, a bucket of dancing, a bushel of show stopping musical numbers, and a healthy peck of Landry's signature filth and you've got yourself a certified holiday HIT!

Landry will play the role of Blanche Hudson and longtime Orphan collaborator, Larry Coen will take on the iconic part of Baby Jane. Surrounded by a supporting cast of new Orphan favorites, the audience is sure to be surprised and delighted as the plot twists and the tables turn! Audiences can, as usual, expect to gasp in horror and/or squeal with delight as the Orphans dance, sing, and satirize their way through 90 minutes of rock solid FUN! "WHATEVER HAPPENED TO BABY JESUS?" will keep you on your toes AND at the edge of your seat!

Tickets are available at https://whateverbabyjesus.brownpapertickets.com . Audience members are advised to buy tickets early as Gold Dust Orphans Christmas shows ALWAYS sell out. Performances will be held Thursdays and Fridays at 8 pm and Saturdays and Sundays at both 5pm AND 8pm. There are already ADDED performances on Tuesday, December 19th and Wednesday, December 20. As always, children under the age of 18 will not be permitted.
