Reagle Music Theatre of Greater Boston will open its 47th consecutive summer season with the Broadway favorite, Guys and Dolls, from June 11-21, 2015 at the Robinson Theatre (617 Lexington St. Waltham, MA, 02452). Set in Damon Runyon's jubilant, shimmering New York City, this Tony Award-winning musical about gangsters, showgirls, and mission workers stars Olivier Award nominee Brent Barrett as Sky Masterson (Broadway's Chicago, PBS's Kiss Me, Kate) and opera singer Mara Bonde as Sarah Brown (The Boston Pops). Broadway veteran David Hugo (LES MISERABLES) returns to direct Frank Loesser's romantic comedy that demonstrates the great lengths to which a guy will go when he truly falls in love with a "doll." Reagle Music Theatre is the long-running regional theater company known for casting Broadway stars alongside regional talent. Guys and Dolls won five Tony Awards including "Best Musical" when it premiered on Broadway in 1950. Guys and Dolls features some of Frank Loesser's most memorable songs, including "Adelaide's Lament," "I've Never Been in Love Before," "Sit Down You're Rocking the Boat," and the classic "Luck be a Lady." The 1992 production won a Tony for Best Revival, and its cast album was awarded the Grammy. The critically acclaimed 1955 film version featured Marlon Brando, Vivian Blaine, Frank Sinatra and Jean Simmons. Guys and Dolls, a musical fable of Broadway, is based on a story and characters of Damon Runyon; Music and Lyrics by Frank Loesser, Book by Jo Swerling and Abe Burrows. Guys and Dolls is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI).

Guys and Dolls Cast:

Brent Barrett* (Sky Masterson) has entertained millions of fans around the world from the stages of Broadway, the West End, concert halls, recording studios and television. He recently reprised his role as Billy Flynn in the Tony Award winning hit, Chicago-The Musical, for which he received a LA Drama Critics Award. Prior to his Broadway return, Brent opened the new production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Phantom-The Las Vegas Spectacular. He received an Olivier Award nomination for his starring role in the London premiere of the Broadway revival of Kiss Me, Kate. Other Broadway roles include Frank Butler in the Broadway revival of Irving Berlin's Annie Get Your Gun opposite Reba McEntire, Charles Castleton in the Alan Jay Lerner musical Dance a Little Closer and Baron Felix Von Gaigern in Grand Hotel. Brent made his Broadway debut as Tony in the 1980 revival of West Side Story, which he subsequently reprised in the International Tour. He is the founding member and producer of The Broadway Tenors. Brent has recorded three solo albums and can also be heard on studio recordings of Brigadoon, Grand Hotel, Dance a Little Closer, Closer Than Ever, Show Stoppers, The Busby Berkeley Album, Lost in Boston IV, Unsung Musicals, Vol. III, and The Maury Yeston Songbook. On television and in film Brent was featured in The Producers, Hercules, Longtime Companion, All My Children, Another World and Guiding Light. *Denotes member of Actors' Equity Association.

Mara Bonde* (Sarah Brown) has thrilled audiences in diverse venues throughout the United States and Europe with her electric stage presence and musical artistry. She has been the guest artist for "Holiday Pops" with the Boston Pops, Baton Rouge, Lansing, New Haven, Syracuse, Charlotte Symphony Orchestras and the Naples Philharmonic. Stage credits include the title role in The Merry Widow (Imperial Symphony Orchestra), Marian in Music Man and Sarah Brown in Guys and Dolls (Greater Lowell Music Theater) Adina in L'elisir d'amore (Sarasota Opera), Echo in Ariadne auf Naxos (Boston Lyric Opera), Lilli Vanessi/Kate in Kiss Me, Kate (Commonwealth Opera), and Johanna in Sweeney Todd and Marietta in Naughty Marietta (Light Opera Oklahoma). She has also graced the stages of Opera Omaha, Glimmerglass Opera, Utah Opera, Light Opera Oklahoma, Opera Company of North Carolina and the Artist Series of Sarasota in works ranging from Mozart to Mollicone and Sullivan to Sondheim. *Denotes member of Actors' Equity Association.

Featuring:

SCOTT WAHLE as Nathan Detroit - Hingham, MA native Scott Wahle has thirty-plus years' experience as a stage and screen actor, on-camera news and sports broadcaster, talk show host, emcee, play-by-play announcer and industrials spokesperson. He has been performing with Reagle Music Theatre since 2001, when he took on the role of John Adams in 1776 (I.R.N.E. nomination, Best Actor). Also with Reagle: The Music Man, (Harold Hill - 2004 I.R.N.E. award/Best Actor), Fiddler on the Roof (Tevye), The Will Rogers Follies (Will Rogers), Annie (F.D.R.), and Into the Woods (Narrator/Mysterious Man). Film: Knight and Day, The Makeover, Ted 2, Black Mass, Bleed For This, Odyssey (NBC TV pilot). Scott has sung on The Rosie O'Donnell Show, performed with the Boston Pops, and sung the National Anthem for the Red Sox, Bruins, Celtics and Patriots. Wahle was a broadcast reporter/anchor at WBZ-TV for 20 years.

LORI L'ITALIEN as Adelaide - Lori is a regular on the Boston theatre scene, splitting her time between the stage and the studio; she teaches voice, acting and music at Lasell College, where she also serves as choir director and director/music director for the theatre program. Lori made her Reagle debut last fall in A Grand Night for Singing. Favorite roles include: Bobbi/Gaby (City of Angels), and Lucille Frank (IRNE Best Actress Nom. - Parade) both with Fudge; Fantine (LES MISERABLES) and Adelaide (Guys and Dolls) with Woodland; Homeless Lady (A New Brain) with Moonbox; as well as Sally Bowles (Cabaret), Betty (White Christmas) and Lucy Harris (Jekyll & Hyde).

Also featuring: Brad Peloquin as Nicely-Nicely Johnson, Terrence Donilon as Arvide Abernathy, Christopher A. King as Benny Southstreet, Stephen Rourke as Harry the Horse, Rick McDermod as Big Jule, Paulie Pecorella as Rusty, Rich Allegretto as Lt. Brannigan and Meryl Galaid as General Cartwright.
