Special Talk-Back by Waltham's own Stephen & Donna Rourke:
Reagle is proud to participate in ArtWeek Boston during Remembering the 40's! Please join us for a special ArtWeek post-show talk-back after the Saturday, October 3rd, 2:00 pm performance to learn about the history of this nostalgic show at Reagle, and take a peek into the history and culture of the 40's. Stephen and Donna Marie (Testa) Rourke are long-time Waltham residents and founding members of Reagle Players, and will provide insight into Reagle's beloved production of Remembering the 40's. Both have a long history with Reagle and have worked on-stage and off-stage since the company's inception. Most recently, Stephen appeared as "Harry the Horse" in Reagle's 2015 production of Guys and Dolls. Donna Marie is a dancer, choreographer, actress, and dance instructor. During their honeymoon the couple attended a London performance of Happy as a Sandbag, a British musical revue about the war years, that became the inspiration for Remembering the 40's. Learn how the early productions grew from cabaret to a main-stage staple at Reagle. When not in the theater, Stephen works as a video producer at Lawler/Rourke Associates, and serves as a Waltham City Councillor. Donna taught dance for many years in her studio and at The Studio of Creative Movement.
