The Regional Entertainment Production and Administration (REPA) Job Fair celebrates its tenth anniversary Saturday, February 27, 2010. The job fair caters to production and administrative professionals looking for work in back stage and administrative aspects of the performing arts. Employment opportunities range from salaried positions, stipends, seasonal employment and internship opportunities. Based on past years, planners anticipate theatre employers in attendance from the Metro Boston area with additional representation from greater New England and New York State. The Dance and Production communities will be represented with information tables featuring Boston Dance Alliance and USITT New England.

"With the weakened economy it is crucial for job seekers to have multiple avenues to finding employment. REPA has a long established tradition of attracting local and regional producers and connecting them with potential employees," notes Dawn M. Simmons, Director of Programs.

The REPA Job Fair takes place Saturday, February 27, 2010, 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM, at 88 Tremont Street, Boston, MA 02108. The event is free to job seekers and does not require prior registration. Candidates should come with a portfolio and/or 50 copies of their resume, and business cards if they have them.

In addition, REPA will feature a Resume/Portfolio review option. Job seekers can sign up for 10-minute sessions with our review experts. Call 617-720-6066 to sign up ahead of time or schedule a session on the day of the Job Fair. The review session is great for anyone who wants to make sure they are making their best presentation at REPA or any job interview.

REPA is sponsored by StageSource, Boston Dance Alliance and USITT. For more information on the REPA Job Fair call 617-720-6066 or visit StageSource at www.stagesource.org. Organizations interested in being represented should contact StageSource for registration information.
