American songwriters John Kander and Fred Ebb are front and center in Barrington Stage Company's The World Goes 'Round, a musical revue of unforgettable gems from throughout their incredible career in theatre, film and television, spotlighting songs from Cabaret, Chicago, New York New York, Funny Lady, Kiss of the Spiderwoman and more. The World Goes 'Round runs for two more weeks from Wednesday, October 10 through Sunday, October 21 at Barrington Stage Company, 30 Union Street, Pittsfield, MA.
The production features Kevin Duda, Angela Grovey, Bianca Marroquin, Andrea Rivette and Kurt Robbins. Julianne Boyd directs with Joshua Bergasse choreographing. Brian Usifer is musical director.
"Life - with its glories, indignities, hopes and quiet dreams - is the subject of this dazzling outpouring of song and dance. Filled with humor, romance and insightful lyrics, the show is a thrilling celebration of life and the fighting spirit that keeps us all going," explain press notes.
Barrington Stage Company's production of The World Goes 'Round performance times
are Wednesday and Thursday at 7PM, Friday and Saturday evening at 8PM, Sunday
evening at 7:30PM, with matinees Saturday at 4PM and Sunday at 3PM. There is an
