Photo Flash: First Look at Un-Common Theatre's AND THEN THEY CAME FOR ME, Foxborough

The Un-Common Theatre Company is presenting "And Then They Came for Me: Remembering the World of Anne Frank" April 13th through April 15th at the Orpheum Theatre, Foxboro, MA. In these costumed photographs, you can get a sneak peak of the cast Lyshah Funai, Georgia Rose Fraser, Libby Pickard, Aly Flagg, Hailey Fice, Sydney MacKillop, McKenzie Shea, Jordan Calusdian, Ellie Ault and Katie Ault.

"And Then They Came for Me: Remembering the World of Anne Frank" is a multimedia play that combines videotaped interviews with Holocaust survivors Ed Silverberg and Eva Schloss and live actors recreating scenes from their lives during World War II. Ed (Ethan Hermanson, Cambridge, MA) was Anne Frank's first boyfriend, and she wrote about him in the beginning of her now-famous diary. Eva Schloss (Sydney MacKillop, Raynham, MA) was the same age as Anne Frank (Franci DuMar, Sherborn, MA) and lived in the same apartment building in Amsterdam. Her family went into hiding the same day as the Frank family and, like the Frank family, they were betrayed. On Eva's 15th birthday, her family was arrested by the Nazis and sent to concentration camps. Part oral history, part dramatic action, part direct address, part remembrance, "And Then They Came for Me: Remembering the World of Anne Frank" breaks new ground and has been acclaimed by audiences and critics in world-wide productions.

The cast of 17 is guided by Director Christa Crewdson (Arlington, MA) and Assistant Director Matthew Timmons (Canton, MA).
