Photo Flash: First Look at A YEAR WITH FROG & TOAD at Cape Rep's Outdoor Children's Theater

Summer starts at Cape Rep's Outdoor Theater with Arnold Lobel's popular children's book characters brought to life in the funny and fun musical, A Year with Frog & Toad. On Tuesdays & Wednesdays now through August 31. BroadwayWorld has a first look at the cast in action below!

Waking from hibernation in the Spring, Frog and Toad plant gardens, swim, rake leaves, go sledding, and learn life lessons along the way. The two best friends celebrate and rejoice in the differences that make them unique and special. Based on Arnold Lobel's beloved books A Year With Frog And Toad is a story part vaudeville, part make believe, all charm, that tells the story of a friendship that endures throughout the seasons.

The cast features Cape Rep and Outdoor Theater favorites Jared Hagan as Toad and Anthony Teixeira as Frog and playing a variety of woodland critters Jessica Georges, Marie Becklo and Thomas Leidenfrost. Victoria Flores, who directed last year's Elephant & Piggie's "We are in a Play!" directs.

Tickets are $10 and general admission. All shows are at 10 am, June 28 through August 31. If it rains, we go indoors! All tickets are general admission and first come, first served as there is no reserved seating. We recommend arriving a half hour before show-time to select your preferred seating.
