Professional Arts Executive Patrick Riviere has just launched On PAR Productions, LLC in Provincetown, Massachusetts with plans to create and support a great deal of performance and visual art both in Provincetown and regionally. Already scheduled is an AEA 29-Hour Staged Reading in New York City of Riviere's own play, THE HOUSE OF NUNZIO, directed by award-winning director Stephen Nachamie and starring Broadway veteran Mary Ellen Ashley. The project is being produced by Barbara Bemelmans in association with On PAR.
Projects being planned for production in Provincetown include: a short film entitled, The Making of a Glitter Beard Drag Queen; a concert fundraiser of the acclaimed musical EVITA; the Massachusetts premiere of the play, SHAKEN & STIRRED by Virginia Wall Gruenert and an evening of One-Acts at The Provincetown Theater.
Riviere has a long and successful history in the theatre as both a professional actor and as a director, playwright, producer and arts administrator. He co-founded The Emerging Artists Project, Inc., founded All Seasons Theatre Company and was creator and Executive Director of PIE Story Theatre, a successful education program for 23 years. He was the first Industry/Professional Liaison at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts and has also worked for Arts Horizons, Second Stage Theater and The Hudson Riverfront PAC among other arts organizations. He recently co-starred with Broadway favorite Michele Ragusa in a concert of KISS ME KATE with the Buffalo Philharmonic at Kleinhan's Music Hall and currently sings at several venues in Provincetown.
