The Barnstable Comedy Club proudly presents Larry Marsland's Panama Club, a play with music that captures the mood and magic of a legendary nightclub that existed on Cape Cod during the years leading up to and during World War II. Featuring some of the greatest hits of the time and bubbling over with the joy of swing, Panama Club takes place over the weekend of the attack on Pearl Harbor and focuses on the impact of that event on the lives of young lovers.

M. Ring with musical direction by Marcia Wytrwal and choreography by Kelly Quealy, the show opens on Thursday, November 4 at 8PM and continues through November 21 on Friday and Saturday evenings at 8PM with Sunday matinees at 2:30 PM. The Barnstable

The Panama Club, located on Main Street in Hyannis in the 40's, was a favorite dance club of local men and women, frequented by servicemen from Camp Edwards and featured local popular musicians which included renowned jazz pianist, Marie Marcus.
