Orfeo Group, Orfeo Group is planning an ambitious series of programming as an extension of its production of The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged). Beginning at 6:00 PM before every performance of the "Complete WOWS(a)", Orfeo Group will present a Prelude during which local actors, directors, playwrights and arts groups will showcase their work. Fridays will feature improvisational performances by Improv Boston, and Saturdays will feature children's programming provided by Arlington Children's Theatre, Stoneham Theatre's Kids4Kids, Rebel Shakespeare and others.

The extension programming will culminate in an all day FREE festival in the park on Sunday July 26th beginning at 10 AM. The festival will include performances by local musicians and dance troupes, exhibitions by local arts collectives, and a Shakespeare Talk on The Music of the Spheres by Orfeo friend, Bill Barclay.

"It's an exercise in community building," says Orfeo member Risher Reddick. "The show will be presented outdoors under natural light with food, drink and a vibrant social atmosphere."

Please check the calendar on Orfeo Group's website for more information. If you have further questions or want to get involved, please email Risher Reddick at risher@orfeogroup.org.
