Marquee Theatre Productions will present the Southeastern Massachusetts premiere of Miss Saigon at Bristol Community College in Fall River.

Executive Producer, Mark Velozo, explained, “Miss Saigon is one of the legendary and classic love stories of our time, adored by both audiences and critics around the world. We wanted to produce a show that would prove to be something special; a jaw-dropping musical that has never been seen before in the Fall River area.”

After rehearsing for months, Marquee Theatre Productions promises a show to remember. From Providence to Mattapoisett, the show will star Jillian Zucco, Jay Burke, Tyler Indyck, Jared Robinson, Jessalyn Sadler-Correa, James Lambert, and Nadine Goulet. “When we first started Marquee,” Mark said, “we wanted to prove that younger talent could perform right alongside veterans of the stage, and we’ve done it better with this show than any other. I’m so proud of the hard work they’ve put in.”

“We decided to pull out all the stops,” said Mark. “We’re really excited to give our audiences a show that will absolutely blow them away. I can’t wait until everyone hears the amazing voices that we have in this show, and the acting is just as powerful!” Costumes and sets are reported to be just as amazing.

After thanking his sponsors—the Somerset Credit Union and the Massachusetts Cultural Council—Mark concluded, “We’re very fortunate to have some of the finest talent in the area working on this production. Our Director and Artistic Designer is the multi-talented Roberto SC Soares, who will be assisted by theatre-veteran, Robbie Burke. We also have award-winning chorographer, Loralee Levesque, and costume designer Aaron Gendreau-Visco,  as well as Music Director, Alex Tirrell. ” This musical version of Miss Saigon will be accompanied by a full  16 piece orchestra.

Located at the Bristol Community College’s Margaret Jackson Theatre in Fall River, show dates are February 9, 10, 11th at 7:00 pm, and February 12th at 2:00 pm.
