Marblehead Little Theater Welcomes THE GUEST, 4/7-8

Arlekin Players, an award winning theater Production Company, presents The Guest-an adaptation of Stone Guest andScene from Faust by Alexander Pushkin.  Marblehead Little Theater, located at 12 School Street, Marblehead, MA 01945 will host the play on Saturday-Sunday, April 7 at 8 pm and April 8 at 2 and 8 pm.  Please reserve tickets online at www.ArlekinPlayers.com 

Arlekin Players employs The Stanislavski Method, originated a century ago in Russia, and later became fundamental blocks of contemporary Dramatic Arts movement.  The Guest is a vibrant, stylish, and enigmatic performance in Russian with English subtitles.

Arlekin Players' The Bear was nominated to represent The American Association of Community Theatre in 2013 at The InterNational Theatre Festival in Monaco, upon competing with over one hundred best theater groups in the US.  The play was performed mostly in Russian with some infusions of English.

Arlekin Players is directed by Igor Golyak, native of Brookline and a graduate from Russian Academy of Theater Arts and the prestigious Schukin Institute in Moscow.  The team of dedicated artists working full or part-time on the stage includes Gene Ravvin, Alana Kumalagova, Eduard Snitkovsky, Irina Bordian, Daniel Barenboym, Alexander Petetsky and Igor Golyak.   Last year's award winning performance The Bear travelled across the states and internationally where artists were greeted with standing ovations.  Also, Igor Golyak and Alana Kumalagova, husband and wife team of professional actors, established school for kids and adults interested to learn acting and theater production techniques. Arlekin Players enjoys an overwhelming support of theater-goers and volunteers.
