25th Annual Putnam Country Spelling Bee tells the story of a spelling bee from the spellers' perspectives. The spellers interact, think, spell, and sing, as they compete for first prize, as the spelling bee hosts and comfort counselor run the contest. The show also has an improv element, as a few of the spellers are audience members, who are invited up to spell along with the actors.
