MISS HOLMES Comes to GBSC ImageSee Sherlock as you've never seen her before in Miss Holmes, written by Christopher M. Walsh based on the characters by Arthur Conan Doyle. This classic, timeless Sherlock Holmes mystery takes on a greater twist - Sherlock and Watson are women. Directed by Producing Artistic Director Weylin Symes, performances run April 5 - 22, 2018. The Press Opening is Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 3:00pm.

"I love a good mystery," shares Symes. "When I found Chris Walsh's version of Sherlock Holmes, I immediately knew I wanted to produce it. The idea of a traditional Sherlock Holmes mystery with a female Holmes and Watson is so simple, elegant and obvious that I'm surprised no-one thought of it before now. In addition to being a great murder mystery, watching Sherlock and Watson negotiate the gender dynamics of 19th-century London adds a new element to the story that makes it all the more enjoyable."

The cast features Boston favorites Marge Dunn as Holmes, Daniel Berger-Jones, Shelley Bolman, Monica Giordano, Cheryl McMahon, Alexander Platt, Damon Singletary, Patrick Varner, and Greater Boston Stage Young Company alum Brittany Rolfs as Watson.

The design team is comprised of Scenic Designer Katy Monthei, Lighting Designer Chris Fournier, Costume Designer Deirdre Gerrard, Sound Designer Nathan Leigh, and Props Master Emme Shaw.
