"Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness," things we are entitled to yet sometimes extremely hard to achieve. This season Peregrine Theatre Ensemble explores what it takes to ultimately be successful, happy and in control of ones destiny.

Whether chasing after your one true love, doing something that is out of your comfort zone to make a living and getting your life back on track or fighting to stay alive in the world of Hollywood, we all know the struggle of life is real. In the end we just want to be happy. However, what does that take and what sacrifices will we make to succeed? This season we explore life as a journey. As the bard once wrote, "some are born great, some achieve greatness and some have greatness thrust upon 'em."

A Midsummer Nights Dream

Celebrate 400 years of Shakespeare with the world's most popular pastime: Love! William Shakespeare's most popular comedy, A Midsummer Night's Dream portrays the adventures of four young lovers, a group of amateur actors and their interactions with woodland fairies. In a mythical Athens and an enchanted forest we find a handsome fairy king, a misguided parent, star-crossed lovers, a weaver who's transformed into a donkey, wood sprites, and elves.

navigate Hollywood's choppy waters, the devilish Diane is doing all she can to keep Mitchell away from the cute rent boy who's caught his eye and the rent boy's girlfriend (wait, the rent boy has a girlfriend?). Will there be a happy ending as the final credits roll?

While spying on their wives at a 'Girls' Night Out,' a group of unemployed steelworkers from Buffalo see how much their sweethearts enjoy watching male strippers. Jealous, out of work, and feeling emasculated, the men come up with a bold and unclothed way to make some quick cash. In preparing, they find themselves extremely exposed; not merely physically but emotionally. As they conquer their fears, self-consciousness, and prejudices, the men come to discover they're stronger as a group, and the strength they find in each other gives them the individual courage to "let it go."
