Kate Pazakis and Ethan Paulini are collaborating on a new comedy with music, Gaylebrity. Larson Award Winning Composer Lance Horne will contribute original musical material. The show is set to premiere July 10 in Provincetown, MA for an 8 week run. Plans to bring the show to Fire Island and NYC are also in the works. Casey Sanderson will serve as musical director. Performances will take place at the Provincetown Counter Productions Studio, 237 Commercial Street, Whaler's Wharf. 7pm and 9:30pm shows will be offered on Sundays in July and on Sundays and Mondays in August. Performances will run through August 29. Tickets available by calling 508.413.1000 or at www.counter-productions.org.

From their early days at the Harwich Junior Theatre, playing African Gods in a severely under-diversified production of Once On This Island to late night games of "diva-tag" at any of NYC's piano bars, Kate and Ethan have spent their lives side by side, on stage and off. Through pop culture, music, comedy and special guests, Gaylebrity will chronicle Kate's meteoric rise from unknown belter to slightly less unknown gay icon.

Paulini is a performer, writer, director and producer. He has appeared extensively in NYC, National Tours, commercials, television and film. He has previously worked with Pazakis in Side Show, in Kate's MAC-nominated The Sexless Years and Lance Horne's World Premiere Musical Back in the Day. More information at www.ethanpaulini.com.
Pazakis is a well known musical performer. She recently appeared in the National Tour of Lincoln Center Theatre's Tony Winning Revival of South Pacific. She is a frequent performer on Rosie's R Family Cruises. Her debut album, "Unzipped: Live at The Zipper" was released by PS Classics. She also played herself in "The Big Gay Musical" feature film. This Summer she will also appear in Xanadu at Cape Rep.
