The Franklin Performing Arts Company (FPAC) presents its annual Gala celebration on Saturday, October 3 at 6 p.m. at THE BLACK BOX, featuring a special, one-night-only performance by Broadway star Jenn Colella. Titled "Silver is the New Black," this year's event celebrates FPAC's 25th Anniversary and kicks off the company's second season at THE BLACK BOX, FPAC's new home and performance venue in downtown Franklin. The signature event includes silent and live auctions, inspired cuisine, and dancing until midnight. The evening's entertainment also spotlights guest artists of the Franklin Performing Arts Company, with a special retrospective highlighting FPAC's 25 production seasons.

Jenn Colella's Broadway credits include Urban Cowboy (Sissy, Outer Critics Circle Award nomination), High Fidelity (Laura), and Chaplin (Hedda Hopper). She recently concluded a one-year run in Broadway's If/Then opposite LaChanze and Idina Menzel. Regionally she was featured as Daisy Hilton in Sideshow at the Kennedy Center, Peter Pan in Peter Pan at the Sondheim Performing Arts Center, and Georgie in The Full Monty at Paper Mill Playhouse with Elaine Stritch. Off-Broadway credits include Beebo Brinker Chronicles (opposite Marin Ireland), Lucky Guy (opposite Kyle Dean Massey) and the revival of Closer Than Ever. Television appearances include guest-starring roles on Cashmere Mafia (ABC), Rescue Me (FX), Can You Tell (Oxygen), All My Children (ABC), The Good Wife (CBS) and Elementary (CBS). Colella starred opposite Joseph Gordon-Levitt in the indie film, Uncertainty. She was a stand-up comedienne at The Comedy Story and The Laugh Factory in Hollywood.

Founded in 1991, the nonprofit FPAC brings together professional artists, community performers and students of the arts in a collaborative and creative environment, with a special focus on youth development and a commitment to live music. FPAC's annual Gala fundraiser supports initiatives of the Franklin Performing Arts Company and THE BLACK BOX.
