JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT Will Play at the Franklin School for the Performing Arts, 02/8

Franklin School for the Performing Arts (FSPA) presents the hit family musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat on Saturday, February 8 at 7:30 p.m. at the New England Chapel, 40 Kenwood Circle, in Franklin. Based on the biblical Joseph story, the lively Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice musical follows the trials and triumphs of Jacob's favorite son in a high-energy, high-adventure retelling of epic proportions! The musical is entirely sung-through and boasts catchy songs of many musical styles, from country western and calypso to pop, disco and rock 'n roll. The enduringly popular Joseph is a colorful and uplifting show for audiences of all ages.

The production showcases 85 FSPA students, ages 6-18, from 16 area towns. Featured roles will be performed by Franklin residents Graham Hancock (Joseph), Ali Funkhouser (Narrator), Abhiram Rao (Pharoah), Aaron Frongillo (Potiphar), Jillian Rea (Mrs. Potiphar), Teagan McStay (Baker), and Brooke Collins (Apache), as well as Jenna McDermott (Butler) of Wrentham. Joseph's eleven brothers will be portrayed by Griffin Wilkins (Reuben) of Walpole, Nicholas Steiner (Simeon) of Millis, Brian Barrett (Levi) of Foxboro, Michael Fajardo (Judah) of Hopkinton, Jason Barney (Dan) of Franklin, Collin Hancock (Naphtali) of Franklin, Wyatt Whitney (Gad) of Franklin, Brian Rea (Asher) of Franklin, Antonio Weissinger (Issachar) of Hopkinton, Sam Evans (Zebulon) of Medfield and Gary Mandia (Benjamin) of Franklin.

Ensemble roles will be performed by Marissa Carlin of Bellingham; Madi Asgeirsson, Lily Barney, Julia Buccella, Morgan Fitzpatrick, Mia Fleischer, Jocelyn Jones, Alexa Katsaros, Valerie Kilroy, Catherine LeClair, Cassidy Peters, Stephanie Schiavo, Lindsey Sparages, Katherine Waples, Caitlin Woodcock and Melissa Wyner of Franklin; Caroline Merten of Hopedale; Angela Salisbury and Colie Vancura of Medfield; Kaitlyn Calnan, Daphne Freeman, Liana Feeman and Maddy Williams of Medway; Sydney Cozzolino and Zoe Stewart of Mendon; Katie Gray of Milford; Kylee Rollins of North Attleboro; and Elena Rouse and Susauna Wickstrom of Wrentham.

Members of the Children's Chorus are Gerty Archambeault of Attleboro; Claire Bauer, Morgan Cooper, Devin Curley, Paige DeMarino, Hayley Driscoll, Liliana Duffy, Dora Ebbeling, Nate Flum, Samantha Flum, Anna Grasso, Kelly Irwin, Olivia MacLean, Tatiana McAlpine, Shelby McCahill, Madison Michenzie, Jacqueline O'Neil, Kathleen O'Neill, Mackenzie Peters, Hannah Rezendes, Madison Rezendes, Sarah Schiavo, Abby Trombert, Grace Tucceri, Johanna Whitney, Jaiden Wyner and Delaney Zolnowski of Franklin; Antonia Rappold of Mansfield; Peter Clifford of Medfield; Alex Barr of Millis; Taylor Dillon of Norfolk; Cameron Isveck of Norton; Laine DiMartinis of Walpole; and Henry Cron and Madeleine Cron of Wrentham.

Founded in 1985, FSPA provides arts education for all ages and levels of ability, with extensive programs in music, dance and drama. Registration is ongoing for all programs, whether for recreational interest or serious study.

Tickets for Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat are $22 for adults and $20 for students and seniors.
