Indian Ranch Adds Shows With KC And The Sunshine Band And Blackberry Smoke To 2018 Yuengling Summer Concert Series

Indian Ranch announced that KC and the Sunshine Band will perform in Webster, MA on Sunday, July 8th and Blackberry Smoke will perform on Sunday, September 16th as part of the 2018 Yuengling Summer Concert Series. KC and the Sunshine Band are still widely popular today, 45 years after they first came onto the music scene, and continue to perform nearly 100 live shows across the globe each year. Harry Wayne Casey- KC for short- developed a unique fusion of R&B and funk with a hint of a Latin percussion groove, creating an impressive string of hits, including "Get Down Tonight," "That's the Way (I Like It)" and "Shake Your Booty." With over 100 million records sold, three Grammy awards and an American Music award, the band is considered one of the most progressive of the 70's and is credited with changing the sound of modern pop music.

Pigeonholing Blackberry Smoke has never been easy. Since emerging from Atlanta in the early '00s, the quintet has become known for its blend of classic rock, blues, country and folk. This fluidity has paid off handsomely, earning them two Billboard chart-topping country albums, 2015's Holding All The Roses and 2016's Like An Arrow. Find A Light (2018), Blackberry Smoke's sixth studio album, doubles down on diversity. Songs hew toward easygoing roots-rock ("Run Away From It All") and Southern rock stomps ("The Crooked Kind"), as well as bruising alt-country ("Nobody Gives A Damn").
