Our improv and music extravaganza is completely made up on the spot every week based on your suggestion. No two shows are alike! Best of all, children who want to participate have opportunities to be on stage and take part in the fun! Our show is ideal for family outings, birthday parties, and school field trips! Best for children ages 4 and above, but appropriate for ALL ages and an absolute favorite for teens, though they refuse to admit it at first, you know, just like a teenager.

STUDIO 40

Studio Teams are independent Sketch and Improv Comedy Teams from the Boston Area who perform regularly in the ImprovBoston Studio, OH! They are self-motivated ensembles, driven by a love for a comedy, often coached and directed by instructors from the ImprovBoston Comedy School and ALWAYS HILARIOUS! Come see for yourself.

IMPROVBOSTON MAINSTAGE

The ImprovBoston Mainstage is the ever-evolving show that is the cornerstone of ImprovBoston. Blending skillful storytelling, memorable music, audience participation, and joyful chaos, an elite cast of Boston's best improvisers creates a show that redefines itself with every performance. No rules. No boundaries. Just spectacular comedy and incredible improvisation.

SKETCH CAGEMATCH

A new challenger takes on the champion every week at CageMatch. Each team gets 22 minutes performing head-to-head sketch comedy, no games but the game of the scene. And the audience decides the winner. The champ comes back to defend the title; the loser stays home.

FACE OFF

Now most audiences have seen Whose Line, you know, the show with Drew Carey on ABC Family, and maybe some of you have seen that show Nick Cannon did for MTV. Well, Boston, Face Off kicks it up a notch with a latenight show (not appropriate for the whole family) and they guarantee to make you part of the action. You provide the suggestions; Face Off performs; you laugh; you vote for the Team you prefer. REPEAT! Teams of improv comedians literally face off against each other for your laughs and approval.

NIGHTCAP

Before you call it a night on a Fridays and Saturdays, make plans to stop by ImprovBoston, grab a drink at the bar and catch a FREE set of Boston's BEST stand-up comics and improv comedy acts. We guarantee you Laugh Out Loud! (And if not, it's 100% FREE, so you have nothing to lose.) Nightcap shows last until Midnight-ish. Come for the 10pm show and save your seat for Nightcap.

THE JAM
The Jam combines three acts. The first two acts change weekly, and feature comedy from Boston and beyond, encore performances of our showcase shows, and Boston's elite comedy talent experimenting with new improv formats, characters and standup. For the 3rd act, audience members, guests and ImprovBoston cast come together for an open comedy jam!
