This April it's ALL ABOARD a train of fools as the imaginary beasts ensemble takes audiences on a WILD RIDE through the world of THE CRAZY LOCOMOTIVE by Stanislaw Ignacy Witkiewicz.

When a small band of outcasts and super villains hijack a locomotive engine, they determine to race it full-throttle into an oncoming passenger train in order to experience the very Mystery of Existence, but will their high-speed adventure send them headlong into another dimension, or are they only heading for disaster?

Written in 1923, this avant-garde gem serves as Witkiewicz's indictment against futurism, the cinema, and the worship of the machine.

Equal parts paradox and parody, metaphysics and mayhem, THE CRAZY LOCOMOTIVE will take audiences on a dream-like journey into madness.

Performances of THE CRAZY LOCOMOTIVE will take place at the Plaza Black Box Theatre at the Boston Center for the Arts, 539 Tremont Street, Boston, MA.

Tickets are $15-18. Senior, student and group discounts available. Show days and times are April 1, 2, 8, 9, 15, 16 at 8 p.m; April 6, 7, 13, 14 at 7:30 p.m; and April 2, 3, 9, 10, 16 at 4 p.m.
The public can reserve tickets by calling the box office at 617-933-8600, by web at BostonTheatreScene.com or in person at Calderwood Pavilion, 527 Tremont Street or BU Theatre, 264 Huntington Ave.

This production will use a strobe light.
The Crazy Locomotive is presented by special arrangement with Samuel French, inc.
