Heart & Dagger Productions is proud to present HAIR, the tribal love-rock musical with direction by IRNE Nominee Joey C. Pelletier. Music Direction by James Sims. With fresh and sensual choreography by Pelletier, Peter DiMuro, Danielle Lucas, Vanessa White, and Michael Underhill, HAIR also features book and lyrics by Gerome Ragni and James Rado with music by Galt MacDermot. The opening is September 29, 2017 at Club Café's Moonshine Room in Boston, MA.

The granddaddy of all rock musicals, HAIR is at once both a joyous celebration of youth and a poignant journey through a tumultuous 1960s America. This exuberant musical about a group of Americans searching for truth, peace and love in a Vietnam War era, has struck a resonant chord with audiences of all ages. HAIR features an eclectic score filled with classics, including "Aquarius," "Let the Sun Shine In," "Hair," and "Easy To Be Hard." The themes and struggles in HAIR remain vital and relevant to the times we live in today.

"HAIR is fascinating and it's mind-blowing how relevant it is to our current political climate. As a company, we are interested in examining those parallels and questioning how we've gotten here," says director Joey C. Pelletier. "In this cast we have some exciting young talent as well as a few H&D favorites that audiences have come to expect from our productions."

HAIR features an extraordinary and multi-cultural cast led by James Sims, Melissa Barker, and Tamani Jayasinghe as Claude, Berger and Sheila and includes Elizabeth Battey, Jesse Bull, Neon Calypso, Aaron Drill, Doug Dulaney, Lauren Foster, Jane Ko, Bailey Libby, Ava Maag, Brad Reinking, Jeomil Tovar, Jocelin Weiss, and Erin Rae Zalaski.

HAIR runs through October 20, 2017.
