GhostLit Repertory Theatre Company, under the leadership of Artistic Directors Caitlin Teeley and Harrison Lang, is proud to announce it's Summer 2018 season, featuring a new musical adaptation of William Shakespeare's classic, The Tempest, and the five-time Tony-Award Winning musical, Fun Home, starring Caitlin Teeley as Alison Bechdel.

This new adaptation of The Tempest sees William Shakespeare's memorable script, believed to be the last one he wrote alone, infused with innovative and imaginative songs, composed by Jackson Teeley with lyrics from Shakespeare's text. This original adaptation had its world-premiere workshop in spring, 2016 at Emerson College and will now see it's fully staged world premiere at St. James Place in Great Barrington, from June 14-17. Originally adapted by Corey G Potter, Amanda Rose Wallace, and Jackson Teeley, this production will feature Brianna Nicola as Miranda, Ali Louis Bourzgui as Caliban, Caroline Fairweather as Ariel, Cody Lee Miller as Stephano, and Harrison Lang as Trinculo. Caitlin Teeley and Jackson Teeley will direct, with music direction by Jackson Teeley. Tickets will be $20. Complete casting and creative team information will be announced at a later date.

The Tempest will play June 14 and 15 at 8pm, June 16 at 2pm and 8pm, and June 17 at 2pm and 8pm.

Closing out the summer will be the musical Fun Home, a Pulitzer Prize finalist and winner of five Tony Awards, including Best Musical. Fun Home, based on the graphic novel of the same name by Alison Bechdel, is a musical told from the perspective of a 43 year old Alison as she dives deep into her past to tell the story of her father, a volatile, brilliant, one-of-a-kind man whose temperament and secrets defined her family and her life. Moving between past and present, Alison relives her unique childhood playing at the family's Bechdel Funeral Home, her growing understanding of her own sexuality, and the looming, unanswerable questions about her father's hidden desires. Fun Home is a refreshingly honest, wholly original musical about seeing your parents through grown-up eyes. Directed by Harrison Lang, Fun Home stars Caitlin Teeley as Alison Bechdel, and will be produced at The Egremont Barn from August 8-12. This production of Fun Home marks the musical's regional premiere. Tickets will be $30. Complete casting and creative team information will be announced at a later date. Presented by special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc.

Fun Home will play August 8, 9, and 10 at 8pm, August 11 at 2pm and 8pm, and August 12 at 2pm and 8pm. The 8pm, August 11 performance will be a fundraiser for the Human Rights Campaign, and the 8pm, August 12 performance will be a fundraiser for The Trevor Project.
