While summer is a time to kick back, relax, and enjoy time off, it is also about giving back to the community. July in Provincetown delivers with plenty of charity events on the schedule. Close on the heels of Bear Week is the annual theme week for women - Girl Splash (July 17-21). This coming together of women features concerts, outdoor events, and lively parties from dawn 'til dusk. Foodies will enjoy the Cape Cod Clambake on the beach and those in search of adventure should check out the Provincetown Scavenger Hunt and the Wonder Women party, which is (super) fun for all.

For those looking to make a getaway with the whole family, Provincetown's annual Family Week (July 28-August 4) is the place to be. Co-hosted by Colage and Family Equality Council, Family Week brings together LGBTQ families from around the country to create lasting bonds and build community. Thoughtful programming includes the Multi-Racial Families Ice Cream get-together, the Transgender and Gender Nonconforming Gathering, and Single Parents gathering. For the kids, there is art, theater, whale camp, concerts, readings, and more. An inclusive space, Family Week is full of activities for all ages!

Celebrating its 37th year, GLAD's Annual Summer Party (July 28) is a community staple.
