Travel back in time as Greater Boston Stage Company presents Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol as a five-part radio drama read by local favorite, Christopher Chew.

Gather your family around the radio (or laptop or iPad) with a cup of cocoa (or wassail or maybe some hard cider) to listen to this heart-warming story of redemption and charity. Each evening beginning Sunday, December 20, 2020 at 5:00pm and continuing through December 24,2020, GBSC and Christopher Chew share a new chapter of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol. Previous chapters will remain on-line and available to hear in case you miss a day and you can hear the story in its entirety on Thursday, December 24, 2020 at 5:00pm.

Adapted by Producing Artistic Director, Weylin Symes with Associate Artistic Director Ilyse Robbins and actor Christopher Chew, this timeless classic is as important now more than ever. Says Symes, "Just as the story celebrates the spirit of giving, all of us at Greater Boston Stage Company offer this as our gift to you. We miss seeing our audiences in our theater and look forward to the time that we can do so again safely. Until then, we send our thanks and gratitude for all the support our audiences have shown us. So, from our house to yours and to all our neighbors, God bless us, everyone."

In the spirit of the season, donations may be made on the Greater Boston Stage Company website at www.greaterbostonstage.org.
