Franklin Performing Arts Company Presents HANSEL AND GRETEL 3/7

Franklin Performing Arts Company's (FPAC) Family Concert Series continues on March 7th from 3:00pm - 4:00pm, with the children's opera, Hansel and Gretel. The roles in Hansel and Gretel will be performed by Franklin School for the Performing Arts Voice Faculty with Jacque Wilson of Framingham in the role of Hansel, Mariko Matsumura of Stoneham in the role of Gretel and Franklin's Shauna Martin in the role of the witch.

The beautiful score of German composer Engelbert Humperdinck will be played by pianist Scott Nicholas of Jamaica Plain. This opera will delight young children and their families with a familiar story told accessibly through the medium of opera. 

FPAC's Family Concert Series is offered free to the public at 38 Main Street in Franklin in the Franklin School for the Performing Arts RecitAl Hall. This series is made possible in part by Berry Insurance and the Franklin Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.
