The Franklin Performing Arts Company hs announce the cast for its original Holiday Musical, Humbug! More than 200 professional and local amateur singers and dancers will participate in FPAC's new adaptation of Charles Dickens' classic, A Christmas Carol which runs for 3 performances December 19 at 2:00 pm and 7:30 and December 20th at 2 pm at the Thomas D. Mercer Auditorium, 224 Oak Street in Franklin.
Scrooge, played by writer and co-director, Nick Paone, will face his night time visitors with music from every genre. A ten-piece band of Boston based musicians, conducted by Musical Director Hallie Wetzell, will accompany the familiar cast of characters for an unpredictable retelling, toe-tapping guaranteed-to-end-happily classic holiday musical. Raye Lynn Mercer is collaborator and co-director, choreography is by Kellie Stamp, and costuming and production coordination is under the direction of Tracy Lane.
The Cast of Characters includes Marley played by Alan Mercer of Medway, Freddie Mac played by Bill O'Neil of Franklin, Fanny Mae played by Elaine Shaw of Plainville, Bob Matson of Millis and Elizabeth Hurley of N. Attleboro as Mr. and Mrs. Cratchit, Tiny Tim played by Graham Hancock of Franklin, the Ghost of Christmas Past played by Avery McStay of Franklin, the Ghost of Christmas Present played by Kellie Stamp of Franklin, the Ghost of Christmas Future played by Ed Jones of Franklin, Jill Gleason of Franklin as Frederique, Dan Harcourt of Millville as Young Scrooge, Neil Pfizenmier as Boy Scrooge, Ali McCurdy of Medfield as Belle, Katie Ryan of Millville as Dodger and Mr. and Mrs. Fezziwig played by Peter Ostrow of Franklin and Christine DiMartino of Franklin.
