The Franklin Performing Arts Company presents a Culinary Cabaret on Friday, March 9, from 7:00 – 10:00 p.m. at Clarke, The Ultimate Kitchen Resource Center, 393 Fortune Boulevard in Milford. The evening features inspired cuisine and creative cooking demonstrations by area chefs and culinarians, wine tastings, and entertainment by Electric Youth and FPAC special guest artists. Culinary Cabaret supports Electric Youth, an elite ensemble of talented singer-dancers trained at the Franklin School for the Performing Arts (FSPA), and their 2012 European concert tour.
Culinary Cabaret event partners include Artistry Boston Catering and Events; The Cake Bar; Clarke, The Ultimate Kitchen Resource Center; Davio's Northern Italian Steakhouse; Harpoon Brewery; Mandarin Milford; The Meat House; media sponsor Northeast FLAVOR Magazine; Panzano Provviste e Vino; Sabine's Cuisine Personalized Chef Services; Tavolino; and Whole Foods Market.
Clarke, The Ultimate Kitchen Resource Center is the award-winning setting for Culinary Cabaret. The venue features a kitchen-theater classroom and gallery of designer kitchens, providing an inventive backdrop to eat, drink, learn, and celebrate.
Electric Youth members serve as American youth ambassadors while presenting concerts domestically and abroad. EY performances on the 2012 15-concert tour of Austria and Italy include a return Fourth of July engagement at Aviano Air Force Base to entertain U.S. Troops and families stationed abroad.
"EY's Fourth of July concert for our Troops at Aviano Air Force Base resonates with me, says Rodney Poles, Marketing and Community Relations Manager, Whole Foods Market. My uncle worked at the Base as a carpentry and woodworking teacher for the Troops. My family lives ten miles from there and I visited often as a child. I am proud to support EY and partner with FPAC in the launch of Culinary Cabaret, an exciting culinary and performing arts showcase. I am especially pleased that Whole Foods Market is present at the beginning for what should become a signature, destination event in our region for years to come."
The ticket price of $60 per person includes delicious food, fine Italian wines, distinctive craft beer, mouthwatering desserts, and exciting entertainment.
