Open Fall Registration for new students and families begins Monday, April 2 at Franklin School for the Performing Arts (FSPA). Advanced Fall Registration for currently enrolled FSPA students begins Monday, March 26 and runs for one week prior to open enrollment. Registration is also ongoing for all summer programs, including one-week camps, a two-week SummerStage musical theater program, and a full roster of dance classes, voice classes, and private voice and instrumental lessons. Prospective students and families are encouraged to visit the school, tour the facilities and try a complimentary class.
With extensive programs in Music, Dance, and Drama, FSPA brings all performing arts disciplines together under one roof in downtown Franklin. The School offers instruction for all ages and abilities to meet the needs of those who seek levels of training and involvement ranging from recreational enjoyment to serious study.
The Music Department at FSPA offers voice and instrumental private lessons, as well as group classes with ensemble performing opportunities. Little Music School®, a pre-school music program developed by and taught exclusively at FSPA, teaches children as young as 18 months to play the piano.
FSPA’s Dance Department boasts a premiere faculty of accomplished artists and teachers. The dance program offers classes at all levels in ballet, modern, jazz, tap, hip hop, and lyrical. Special classes are featured for boys, adults, and beginner teens.
The FSPA Drama Department features specialized programs in acting and musical theater with classes for all ages and levels, beginning with kindergarten children. Ensemble opportunities include Obstreperous Rep for actors in grades 8-12, as well as musical theater troupes for students in grades 5-12, with annual performance trips to Walt Disney World.
