The Williamstown Theatre Festival has announced an added performance of Villa America on Friday, July 20 at 3PM on the Nikos Stage. The performance has been added due to a high demand for tickets.
Commissioned by the Festival, Villa America explores the lives, loves and losses of what Gertrude Stein called "The Lost Generation." Crispin Whittell (Darwin in Malibu) writes and directs. Matthew Bomer, Charlotte Booker, Nate Corddry, David Deblinger, Karl Kenzler and Jennifer Mudge star.
The added performance runs concurrently with the "Fridays @ 3" reading of End Days, a new play written by Deborah Zoe Laufer and directed by Lou Tyrrell, founder and current Artistic Director of Florida Stage. The reading will take place in the Performance Space of the Paresky Center and tickets are $5.
The remaining performances of Villa America are: July 17-July 22, Tuesday to Friday at 8:00, Saturday at 8:30 with matinees Thursday and Friday at 3:00, Saturday at 4:00 and Sunday at 2:00. Tickets are $33 and $35 depending on the performance.
