Since it opened in the West End in January 2010, ENRON has broken box office and attendance records at the venue. As well as winning several major awards, the production was driven by popular demand to extend its West End run, having already enjoyed sell-out runs at Chichester Festival Theatre and London's Royal Court Theatre. The Broadway production of ENRON was nominated for four Tony Awards before it closed this spring.
The production will now make its US regional debut at the at Boston's Zeitgeist Stage Company beginning September 24. Opening night is September 26. The production will run through October 16, 2010. David J. Miller, Artistic Director of the Zeitgeist, will direct the production. The cast includes, Victor Shopov as Jeffrey Skilling, Greg Ferrisi as Andrew Fastow, Bill Salem as Ken Lay and Erin Cole as Claudia Roe. The ensemble will feature Jenn Bates, James Bocock, Gigi Cochrane, Zach Eisenstat, Michael Fisher, Becca A. Lewis, Kathryn Lynch, Mike Manship, Dmitriy Molchanov, Maya Murphy and Andrew Smith.
Inspired by real-life events and using music, dance and video, ENRON explores one of the most infamous scandals in financial history, reviewing the tumultuous 1990s and casting a new light on the financial turmoil in which the world currently finds itself.
The Zeitgeist production will feature lighting design by Jeffrey Adelberg, sound design by Walter Eduardo and costume design by Fabian Aguilar. Thom Dunn is the production designer.
ENRON won Rupert Goold an Olivier Award, an Evening Standard Award and a Critics Circle Award for Best Director.
An Enron touring company, which will launch this August at Chichester Festival Theatre, will begin a U.K. national tour to Birmingham, Bath, Salford, Sheffield, Newcastle and Edinburgh. Futher dates will be announced, including international locations.

ENRON opened on Broadway at the Broadhurst Theatre on 27 April 2010 and closed on Sunday, May 9. A 10-week tour opens at Chichester Festival Theatre on 10 September 2010.
