David Grover spent many years as Arlo Guthrie's lead guitar and band leader playing for adults, but it wasn't until he had a daughter that he found his true calling, playing for children and families.

Grover's Gang consists of David Grover on guitar & vocals, Kathy Jo Grover on bass & vocals, Charlie Tokarz on saxophones and woodwinds and Joe Torra on Keyboard. David Grover and Grover's Gang have performed at the White House, opened the Goodwill Games, appeared on The Today Show and performed with the Detroit Symphony for their Youth Series. They have recently played for the delegates of the United Nations who gleefully did the hand motions of Turn the World Around at the kickoff of International Year of Clean Water.

With nearly twenty albums under his belt, David Grover, called, "The Jerry Garcia of the Elementary School set," has been compared to MR. Rogers, Paul Simon, James Taylor and Raffi, earning countless awards including a Grammy nomination and Artist of the Year. Grover's music delivers a positive and timeless message, making him irresistible across the generations.

The musicians in Grover's Gang are not only incredibly talented; they are also extraordinary human beings. Children and families of all walks of life enjoy Grover's music. In turn, David considers them his friends and they serve as testament to his ongoing commitment to making quality music accessible to all children.

What better way to celebrate the holidays than with music and family?

About Berkshire Theatre Group
The Colonial Theatre, founded in 1903, and Berkshire Theatre Festival, founded in 1928, are two of the oldest cultural organizations in the Berkshires. Having united in November of 2010 under the helm of Artistic Director and CEO Kate Maguire, these two institutions are providing the Berkshires and beyond with the finest in live theatre, music, dance and the visual arts on four stages in Stockbridge, MA, Pittsfield, MA and Lenox, MA. The Fitzpatrick Main Stage (408 seats), cataloged by the National Register of Historic Places, was originally designed and built by Stanford White as the Stockbridge Casino in 1888. The intimate Unicorn Theatre (122 seats) is a home for emerging artists and new theatrical ideas. The Colonial in Pittsfield (800 seats) re-opened in August of 2006, following a $21 million restoration, and boasts pristine acoustics, classic gilded age architecture and state-of-the-art technical systems. BTG also performs at the newly built outdoor Neil Ellenoff stage at the Mount. Together they serve over 100,000 patrons per year and reach over 10,000 students through their educational and outreach programs.
