While you are waiting to feast your ears on Gilbert and Sullivan's music, stop by the Cotuit Library. While there you can feast your eyes on a display of costumes from last year's production of Sullivan & Gilbert by Ken Ludwig. The lead designer for that production, Karen Billard, made her design debut with CCftA. On display are costumes for two of the musical numbers which are collaborations between Ms. Billard and Claude Danner, one of the costume team. In addition is an example of period dress worn by the principle players.

In addition to the costumes is a display of memorabilia contributed by Royston Nash, former lead conductor for the Cape Cod Symphony who also delivered a lecture on the composers at a special benefit performance last year.

This display marks the beginning of a collaborative relationship with the Cotuit Library. We are grateful to the Friends of the Cotuit Library and to Barbara Burrow, Head Librarian, for the use of their space, and look forward to future collaborative opportunities.

On display through November, 2009.
