Cotuit Center for the Arts Holds 'FROG' Auditions, 5/15 & 19

Theater Under The Stairs announces auditions for its original summer family show, "FROG: A Modern Fairy Tale," directed by Chris Compton and Holly Erin McCarthy.

Production dates will be August 13 - 31. Performances take place during the DAY. You MUST have day-time availability. Rehearsals will begin in June.

Auditions are open to male and female actors of all shapes, sizes and colors; age 10ish - 20ish, and one male actor in his 20's or 30's.

Auditions will be held Tuesday May 15, 6-8pm and Saturday May 19, 1-3pm at Cotuit Center for the Arts, located at 4404 Falmouth Road (rt 28) in Cotuit, Mass. No appointment necessary.

Roles Available:

Kitty - an inquisitive, energetic and imaginative young girl. (Female, age 10-16)
Lil - Kitty's best friend. Happens to be a frog. A comedian and storyteller. (Female, age 10-16)
Wolf - A true southern gentleman with a taste for pig. (Male, Teens- 20's)
3 Little Pigs - Three brothers. One is an artist, one a baker and one an investment banker. (M/F age 10-20's)
Hare - A very fast bunny (M/F teens - 20's)
Tortoise - A pretty fast turtle (M/F teens - 20's)
3 Chipmunks - The Hare's devoted rodent entourage/fan club. (M/F ages 10-20's)
Hansel - loves to explore and play imaginative games with his best friend, Gretel. (Male, age 10 - 18)
Gretel - feels she is getting a bit too old and serious for exploring and imagining with her best friend, Hansel. (Female, 10 - 18)
Boggs - Kitty's Butler. There is something magical, even otherworldly about him. But in look and mannerism he is just an ordinary butler. (Male, age 20- 30)

Some actors will play multiple roles.

Actors will be asked to read from the script.
