Due to popular demand, Cirque du Soleil announced today that 2 additional and final weeks until Sunday, August 5th inclusively have now been added to the Boston engagement of TOTEM now playing under the blue-and-yellow Big Top at the Marine Industrial Park.

Tickets for TOTEM can be purchased at any time online via www.cirquedusoleil.com/totem or at the Cirque du Soleil box office, located inside the entrance tent at the Boston Marine Industrial Park. (Regular box office hours are from 2 hours prior to show time to 30 minutes after the beginning of the show from Wednesday through Sunday.)

About the show
Written and directed by Robert Lepage, TOTEM traces the fascinating journey of the human species from its original amphibian state to its ultimate desire to fly. The characters evolve on a stage evoking a giant turtle, the symbol of origin for many ancient civilizations.

Inspired by many founding myths, TOTEM illustrates, through a visual and acrobatic language, the evolutionary progress of species. Somewhere between science and legend TOTEM explores the ties that bind Man to other species, his dreams and his infinite potential.

Performance schedule
Wednesdays through Fridays 8pm; Saturdays at 4pm and 8pm; Sundays at 1pm and 5pm; and dark on Mondays and Tuesdays. For more information, visit www.cirquedusoleil.com/totem.

Sponsors
Cirque du Soleil gratefully acknowledges the Official Sponsors of the TOTEM 2012 North American tour: Infiniti, CGI, Xerox and Sun Life Financial.
