Cape Cod Theatre Company to Present ANNE OF GREEN GABLES, THE MUSICAL

Cape Cod Theatre Company ~ Home of Harwich Jr. Theatre will present Anne of Green Gables, The Musical June 27 - July 16, 2017, playing Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings at 7pm; Friday, Saturday and Sunday matinees at 4pm. (no show on July 4).

Adapted by Donald Harron Music by Norman Campbell. Musical based on the beloved novel, Anne of Green Gables by Lucy Maud Montgomery. The show features lyrics by Donald Harron and Norman Campbell, with additional lyrics by Mavor Moore and Elaine Campbell.

It will be directed by Susan Kosoff (Founder Wheelock Family Theatre) with musical direction by Robert Wilder and choreography by Laurel Conrad.

It's time for a new generation to fall in love with Anne with an 'e'. The longest running musical in Canada will enchant our audiences of all ages with a wonderful and lively score. The classic tale of an orphan girl, Anne, who rises from destitution entirely by virtue of her pluck and personality. Anne's adventures at Green Gables, the farm owned by her new caretakers, are both comical and heartwarming. Anne of Green Gables: The Musical, is a charming look at the nostalgic world and colorful characters of Lucy Maud Montgomery. Join Anne as she warms her way into the hearts and home of Matthew and Marilla Cuthbert, wins the heart of Gilbert Blithe and becomes bosom friends with Diana Barry.
