As part of his largest lineup of productions yet since taking the helm as The Art House's Producing Artistic Director six years ago, Mark Cortale throws fuel to the blazing lineup of cutting-edge comedy and music already underway at his Provincetown theater with the addition of three more shows opening in late July.
Unitard, the comedy trio returns to Ptown by popular demand with Tard Core! (There Are No Safe Words) - which Time Out NY called "incredibly vicious and relentlessly hilarious" - starring Mike Albo, Nora Burns and David Ilku, directed by Paul Dobie, on July 19 & 20 and September 1 & 2; Idol Worship a one-night-only happening in the form of a chat-variety show premieres on July 25 starring Peaches Christ and Mink Stole; and Burlesque Supertroupe The Atomic Bombshells return to Provincetown celebrating their 10th Anniversary with an all new show entitled Cream from July 28 to August 29.

The comedy trio Unitard is composed of The Combined talents of Mike Albo (former New York Times columnist and author of The Underminer as well as established solo performer), Nora Burns (of the comedy group The Nellie Olesons), and David Ilku (member of the Dueling Bankheads). Their acclaimed show House of Tards, is directed by Paul Dobie, who has worked extensively on Broadway as Assistant Director on Cabaret, Martin Short: Fame Becomes Me, Glengarry Glen Ross, Wicked, and Thoroughly Modern Millie. The trio's newest show premiered at the famed Stonewall Inn, where it played an extended run and then travelled to the Cavern Club Theatre in Los Angeles and the Oasis in San Francisco before returning to the Stonewall Inn. Unitard hails from New York City, and have been called by The Boston Globe calls "A satirical triumph!" and the Village Voice's Michael Musto noted that "This sterling comic trio is a scream." Comedy talents Parker Posey says they're "Crazy talented!" and Sandra Bernhard called their show "Off the Charts funny, brilliant, edgy, scathing, out there. Unitard hits it hard!" In Idol Worship, join hostess Peaches Christ for an intimate, special, one-night-only happening taking the form of a chat / variety show starring living legend and cult film icon Mink Stole. The dynamic duo have been close friends for almost two decades and invite the Ptown audience to enjoy them for this special happening. With interviews, stories shared, anecdotes and live song this will be a wildly entertaining, and uncensored exposé that aspires to be as hilarious as it is revealing. Peaches Christ is an underground drag superstar; emcee, filmmaker, actress, and certified cult leader. Ms. Christ currently resides in San Francisco where her Peaches Christ Productions Company and Midnight Mass movie series are based. "She" is the writer and director of the feature film All About Evil starring Natasha Lyonne, Thomas Dekker, Mink Stole, and Cassandra Peterson. Mink Stole, is an American actress from Baltimore. She began her career working for director John Waters, and has appeared in all of his feature films to date (a distinction shared only with Mary Vivian Pearce and Pat Moran). Because of her work with Waters, she is considered one of the Dreamlanders, Waters' ensemble of regular cast and crew members.
The Atomic Bombshells, Seattle's internationally celebrated burlesque troupe will debut their brand new show Cream that celebrates the feminine form with good humor and style.
