JM Productions & the Common Market Restaurant of Quincy, MA will present STRAIGHT FROM BROADWAY starring Alexa Green and Michelle Dowdy, November 2nd, 2017 at 12 pm and November 3rd, 2017 at 8 pm.

Broadway Divas Alexa Green and Michelle Dowdy star in "STRAIGHT FROM BROADWAY, an intimate collection of American songbook, top-charting radio hits, and your favorite Broadway classics. Songs from their debut albums combine with backstage banter, unique story-telling styles, and timeless vocals, these chanteuses will take you on an unforgettable musical adventure that comes Straight from Broadway!

Alexa Green has become one of the most sought-after new voices and rising stars of this generation. She is best known for her turn as Glinda in the Los Angeles and San Francisco companies of the hit Broadway musical WICKED. After playing too sold out audiences for nearly two years, she went on to appear alongside Neil Patrick Harris and Patti LuPone in the international cinematic release of Stephen Sondheim's COMPANY with The New York Philharmonic Live from Lincoln Center. Alexa has toured both nationally and internationally as a singer and actor, known for her wide vocal range and dramatic musical flexibility. She most recently released her debut album, SO GOOD on Grammy Award-winning record label, Broadway Records and won the Broadwayworld Award for Best New Solo Recording, 2016. Alexa is currently studying for her MA in Vocal Pedagogy at Columbia University and is a teaching artist in musical theatre, rock, and popular voice.

Broadway veteran and cabaret extraordinaire Michelle Dowdy is one of the longest-running leading ladies celebrating over 400 performances as Tracy Turnblad in the hit Broadway musical HAIRSPRAY. A nightlife and cabaret scene favorite, she is the most recent 2017 Mac Award Winner for Piano Bar Entertainer of the Year as a singing mixologist at the world famous Don't Tell Mama in New York City. Michelle has traveled the world as a guest entertainer on cruise ship stages for over ten years. Her debut solo album, A BRASS ACT, spans Broadway favorites and American Songbook classics and is available on iTunes. Michelle hosts numerous nightlife staple shows and can be seen in concerts all over New York City. She can currently be seen as Betty Jean in THE MARVELOUS WONDERETTES off-Broadway.

Matinee performances are $39.00 per person, include lunch, tax, gratuity, and show.
Evening performances are $25.00 per person with dining in any part of the venue pre and post-show with reservations strongly recommended.
