Boston Teens to Perform 'FLIGHT TO AMERICA' on Shubert Theatre Stage

On Thursday, teen leaders from Citi Performing Arts Center's summer youth employment program, City Spotlights Leadership Program, will present their Final Showcase performance on the Shubert Theatre stage.

The full production, 5:30 Flight to America: A Journey through the Perspectives, Ideals & Realities of the American Dream, will include original dance, musical, and theatrical elements developed by the teens over the course of the program.

City Spotlights brings together 61 teens from 13 different Boston and Everett neighborhoods and 30 high schools. The Final Showcase is free and open to the public.

The final showcase will take place on Thursday, August 11, 2016. Doors open at 5:00PM; performance begins at 5:30PM at the Shubert Theatre, 265 Tremont Street, Boston.
