Blue Spruce Theatre is seeking to hire a rock / punk band to be "The Angry Inch" in the punk-rock musical Hedwig and the Angry Inch. Rehearsal schedule somewhat flexible. Performances run November 12-22 at the Arsenal Center for the Arts in Watertown, MA with several late-night performances. Rehearsals would be in and around Watertown as necessary. The band consists of keyboard, drums, guitar and bass with the possibility of some minimal backup vocals as well. Lead vocals will be cast separately. Some of the band would be required to be present for auditions in late April / early May so we could play with prospective singers.

Blue Spruce Theatre was created in September of 2006 in order to bring high-quality, intimate musical theatre to audiences outside of Boston. Our mission is to produce works that connect us to each other as people, and hopefully provide us with a better understanding of who we are, where we came from, and where we are headed.
