Barrington Stage Company's Musical Theatre Lab under the direction of William Finn, Musical Theatre Lab Artistic Producer, Julianne Boyd, Artistic Director, and Tristan Willson, Managing Director, presents the cabaret, Hell Raisers: A Night of Songs by Joe Iconis, for four performances - Thursday, August 11 at 8pm, Friday, August 12 at 8pm, and Saturday, August 13 at 8pm and 10pm at BSC Stage 2 (36 Linden Street, Pittsfield).

Joe Iconis and his merry band of musical theater punks for an explosive night of high-octane showtunes. Quirky portraits of normal people, outcasts, vagabonds, suburbanites, weirdos, fat kids and porn stars are set to hummable music that pulses with the energy and excitement of a barroom brawl. Grab a drink, gather round the old piano and sing along to songs with a rock and roll spirit and an old fashioned heart.
Joe Iconis (music/lyrics, music director) is a writer and concert performer. He has been nominated for two Drama Desk Awards, a
Lucille Lortel Award, and is the recipient of an
Ed Kleban Award, a
Jonathan Larson Award and a 1992 Stratford Elementary School Excellence in Music Certificate. He is the author of Bloodsong of Love (NAMT 23rd annual Festival of New Musicals, October 2011), The Black Suits (book co-written with
Robert Maddock), ReWrite, Theaterworks USA's The Plant That Ate Dirty Socks and We The People. The original cast recording of Things To Ruin, Joe's theatrical rock concert, is available on Sh-K-Boom/
