Bad Habit Productions, one of Boston's Top Small Theatres according to WBZ, presents an evening of Christopher Durang comedies in the hilarious theatrical mash-up DURANG/DURANG December 2 through 12 (Press performance on December 3 at 8pm.) The New York Times raved that "these works have so many good lines that quoting them could enliven a week's worth of dull dinner parties." Eccentric characters travel through wild situations in this night of short plays by the "prodigiously gifted playwright" (The New York Times)

"Act 1 is theatre parody; Act 2, is not." With these words, Christopher Durang launches the audience into a myriad of riotously comic circumstances. Enjoy an upside down satire of Tennessee Williams' The Glass Menagerie followed by a fusion of David Mamet and Sam Shepard. In Act II, struggle with Nina, whose facelift has fallen, and suffer through a visit with your ex before attending a business lunch at The Russian Tea Room.

Bad Habit's production of DURANG/DURANG includes 13 of the area's best actors playing multiple roles in several of the night's pieces. Featuring:
Shelley Brown (Mrs. Sorkin, Ma, Margaret), Mike Budwey (Jake, Foote, Rabbi), Mack Carroll (Wesley, James/Robert/La-la, Priest), Erin Gilligan (Chris), Jenny Gutbezahl (DR. Martina, Waiter), Julie Jarvis (Meg, Marsha), Sheryl Johns (Amanda, Wanda), Silas Lohrenz (Lawrence, Agnes/Beth, Kingpin), Joseph O'Connor (Narrator, Kingpin), Heather Peterson (Nina, Melissa), Lena Raff (Mae), Chelsea Schmidt (Ginny, Usher, Maid, Waitress), and Jonathan Braedley Welch (Tom, Waiter).

The DURANG/DURANG creative team, led by Director Steve Kleinedler and Assistant Director Jenny Reagan, includes Jane Bulnes-Fowles (sound designer), Michael Clark Wonson (lighting designer), Lindsay Gonzales (costume designer), and Julie Brown (props designer). Justin Silverman is the Stage Manager. The sound design includes music from local composers recruited through Facebook and other means as part of Bad Habit's Community Aspect program, which creates opportunities for exposure for Boston area artists.
